Help Desk for the COVID-19 active patients
Chandigarh, 13th August 2020: The Chandigarh Administration has set-up a Help Desk for the COVID-19 active patients who are in Home Isolation. The prime-objective of the Help-Desk is to have regular interaction with those COVID active patients who have been advised Home-Isolation and assist them for required medical assistance in case of any emergency. The Help Desk will contact each of the COVID Patient in Home-Isolation on daily basis.
Yesterday evening total 233 covid-19 patients were in Home Isolation. Today (13.08.2020) each of them has been contacted through phone call by the Help-Desk. The Doctors also interacted through Video-Call and satisfied their queries/worries. In some cases, the doctors after interaction with the patients, advised them medicines also. The patients in Home Isolation have been advised to contact the staff of the Help Desk on the same mobile number in case of medical emergency.
