Certification Ceremony of online workshop on Brain Gym and Memory Booster basics for the CCI children during lockdown
Chandigarh, 07th August 2020, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) organised an innovative program for the mental exercises for the children. It was a two-week online Brain Gym and memory booster program for children of Snehalaya with certificate distribution ceremony which was a blessing during lockdown for the CCI children.
On the concluding day, children who successfully completed the course conducted by Innovative Mid Brain Optimisation Institute (IMBO) were facilitated by the commission and excellent demo was given by a young mentor who read the unknown matter and explained the action around with blindfolded eyes showing the optimum utility of human brain and the scale of growth of learning. Mr. Gurnandan Singh, President Awardee, President of IMBO coordinated the classes. The Chief Guest, Sh. Yashpal Garg, IAS, Secretary Social Welfare, Chandigarh Administration speaking on the occasion complimented the commission for giving such a wonderful workshop to the children which will enhance their capabilities in every walk of life and said that he is sure that children will make the most of this opportunity by using it in academics as well as other fields. Smt. Harjinder Kaur, Chairperson CCPCR, told that the classes were conducted as part of a pilot project aimed at benefiting the students of Snehalaya in their education. The classes will sharpen the memory and concentration of students. Ms. Navjot Kaur, PCS, Director Social Welfare, Chandigarh Administration -cum- Secretary, CCPCR and Dr. Monica M Singh, Member, CCPCR were also present at the occasion.
Event ended with a vote of thanks from Ms. Pooja Punchhi, Member, CCPCR. On this occasion Ms. Rajni Gupta, Company Secretary, Ms. Bisman Ahuja, Manager, UTCPS and Sh. Arvind K Dhawan, Sr. Assistant were also present.
