In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 7 of the Capital of Punjab (Development and Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator, Union territory, Chandigarh is pleased to fix the development fees @Rs. 1100/- per sq. Yard in respect of Pocket No. 2, Gobindpura, Manimajra, Union Territory, Chandigarh, in respect of the land released vide Notification No. 43/3/53- UTF(5)-2009/737-A dated 11.02.2009 as detailed in the schedule given under:-

The aforesaid development fee shall be payable by each landowner/transferee/occupier as the case may be, for he actual area of the site/plot/land in his/her/their ownership/occupation in four annual instalments without interest for the date of present notification.

In case, any landowner/transferee/occupier makes any default in the payment of development fee as fixed by this Administration then in addition to the amount of arrears recoverable, such landowner/transferee/ occupier shall also be liable to pay interest @12% per annum compounded annually, as penalty from the date of default(s), which shall be recoverable in the manner prescribed under Section 8 of the Capital of Punjab (Development and Regulation) Act, 1952.
